What's Compassion got to do with Diversity?
featuring Susan McCuistion
While there have been a few adjustments here and there, we tend to teach D&I the same way we did years ago–through logic and facts. There have been endless articles written about why diversity training doesn’t work. The simple truth is, we're not good talking about D&I because we've never been taught to do so. It’s common to believe, “I treat other people like I want to be treated,” is the best course of action, but what if other people don’t want to be treated the way you want to be treated? Wouldn’t it be more respectful to treat others the way they wanted to be treated?
In this episode, we'll look at compassion, diversity, and what it all means for business.
